Use a standard account on your Mac
The strongest LockedWeb setup is doing your everyday browsing from a standard (non-admin) macOS account. On a standard account, macOS refuses any attempt to remove the LockedWeb profile outright — there is nothing to try. And removing LockedWeb always takes the 72-hour unlock plus the one-time code anyway, on every account, for everyone.
Create a standard account
Open System Settings → Users & Groups.
Click Add User… and approve with the Mac’s admin password.
On some macOS versions the button says Add Account….
Set New User to Standard, fill in a name and password, and click Create User.
Log in to the new account (Apple menu → Log Out, then pick it) and live there day to day.
Your apps and files stay available to the account they belong to — move what you need once, or set the new account up fresh.
Already have the account you use? Make it standard
Make sure the Mac keeps at least one other admin account.
macOS requires one, and you’ll want it for updates and installs. Create one with the steps above (choosing Administrator) if this Mac only has yours.
In System Settings → Users & Groups, click the ⓘ next to your everyday account.
Turn off “Allow this user to administer this computer” and restart the Mac.
